The charts below will help you determine when your product was manufactured. If the first 3 or 4 digits of your serial number are 1294 or D94, then your gun was made in December of 1994. If your gun was manufactured in or after the year 1992 then the first 3 or 4 digits of the serial number will allow you to determine when your gun was manufactured. Prior to 1992 we have information that, while missing some years, may be helpful to you in determining the age of your gun. Prior to 1975 you are not able to determine the date of manufacture by the serial number. In the same year Crosman instituted the serial numbering procedure which included a date of manufacture as part of the serial number. In 1992 the manufacturing facility was moved to the East Bloomfield plant in Upstate New York. In 1991 Crosman Corporation acquired Benjamin and Sheridan.
